Welcome - A message from our President

Greetings and welcome to the official website of Chi Iota Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated®.  Since our founding in 1908 at Howard University, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated® has remained committed to cultivating and encouraging high scholastic and ethical standards, promoting unity and friendship among college women, and to be of “Service to all Mankind”.

We are members of the MARvelous Mid-Atlantic Region that covers North Carolina and Virginia.  Since our chartering on June 21, 2003, we have strived to uphold the sorority’s legacy of “Service to All Mankind” by dedicating ourselves to impactful service, leadership, scholarship, and sisterhood.  We show our dedication to foster sisterhood and service within our community.
