Transfering Members
We are excited that you have chosen Chi Iota Omega as your new chapter home. In order to transfer, you must obtain the consent of your former chapter by completing the Transfer Verification Form, which can be found on the Corporate website. Please have the President and Treasurer from your last chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. where you were a member complete the form and return the original to you. As a general member, in order to transfer you must obtain clearance from the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. corporate office.
Reactivation Information
Members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® who have been inactive for more than one year and wish to reactivate with Chi Iota Omega must complete the Graduate Chapter Reactivation Form, which can be found on the Corporate website. Submit the completed form with the required funds to Membership Chairman, at P.O. Box 840, Kenansville, NC 28349.
Chapter Meetings
Chi Iota Omega Chapter meetings are only open to members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
If you are a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and would like to attend, please email us for more information. Please note: Business attire is required for every chapter meeting. Visiting members are welcomed to all of our "open" meetings, but will be required to bring the proper credentials or proof of membership in order to be admitted into the chapter meeting.

Graduate Membership
Graduate Membership in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated is by invitation only and may not be solicited. However, many activities and events presented by the Chi Iota Omega Chapter are open to the public and are announced on our website and through public communications. For specific information regarding Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority membership, please contact our current Membership Committee Chairman.
